Account Setup

When you up sign up for Ranchbook, you will be asked the base questions required to set up a login for your account. Security is critical to us, you will be asked for a verification cell phone number and a verification email address.

18 Years of Age or Older

Due to the good natured focus of Ranchbook Social Media, users under the age of 18 can use Ranchbook. However, to bid on an Auction the user needs to be 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, parental approval is required to use our service.

Finishing your Account Profile Setup

After logging in to Ranchbook, you can continue to fill out all sections of your account profile.

Navigate to the Menu tab on the bottom right of your phone screen and click on 'My Profile', then choose 'Edit About' to enter your profile information. Remember to click 'Save' when finished.

Joining or Creating your Ranch, Business or Family

After you login for the first time, you will have the option to join or create a Ranch

Choose join if a member of your Ranch, Family or Business has already created your entity.

We would like to limit the creation of duplicate entities so please join your Entity if it already exists.

To join a Ranch, Family or Business you will need the exact entity name and the join code.

You can join more than one Ranch, Business or Family

In many cases, you may have more than one Ranch, Business or Family.

For example, your Ranch may join Ranchbook as well as the business that you work at.

Deleting Your Account

Navigate to the Menu tab on the bottom right of your phone screen and click on 'My Profile', then choose 'Edit About' to delete your account. On the bottom of the screen, select 'Delete'.

You will be required to enter your user password in order to delete your account for security reasons.

If you have recently sold an item, held an auction or have current charges you will not be able to delete your account for security reasons and to protect the rights of other users.

When you delete your account, all your user data will be removed from Ranchbook including your Entity if you created a Ranch, Business or Family. All the data you entered including posts, clips and comments will be removed permanently.

Account Setup Services

You can enter a Service Request in the Ranchbook app. Please enter a Service Request as your first option for any type of communication you would like with Ranchbook. A Service Request enables us to accurately track your service and communicate effectively.

To enter a Service Request, click the + icon within the App and Click Service.

Changes to this Account Policy

We may update this Account Policy periodically. We encourage you to review it regularly for any changes.
