Introduction to Campaigns and Ads

In Ranchbook, you can set up Campaigns to promote your services, products, stock and all your listing pages. You only need to created Campaigns if you want to promote and expose your Ads on our Social Media Home and Discover screens.

Ads assigned to Campaigns will show up as impressions on the Home and Discover screens in the app. Campaigns are a great way to promote your products and services.

Your Campaign Ads will appear along with other social media posts and are cleanly integrated into the user experience. They will also receive higher priority view status when users click Ads from the Discover page.

Our Approach to Advertising

We do not trick users into seeing an Ad by flashing an Ad in obscure locations in the page or screen user experience.

We want our users to be able to find the Ads, Services and Products they are interested in.

Free Searchable Ads

You can create Ads for your entity that are searchable for all users. These Ads display in your profile if users browse to your Profile and they are also discoverable from the Discover screen in the App.

Searchable Ads are free to create. We encourage you to create free Ads that represent your Ranch or Business.

If you decide to utilize Campaigns and pay for Ads that show in the main Home and Discover Social Media Posts, you can ad these Ads to your Campaign(s) later.

Campaign Creation

In order to create a Campaign, you need to check Enable Campaigns for the page you would like to create a Campaign for.

In the Create Campaign screen, fill out the fields to define your Ads and Budget along with the other fields on the screen.

Ad Creation

You do not need a Campaign in order to create an Ad.

Click the + Icon from the Home screen and choose Ad. Enter the key fields on the screen and choose a video or image as your main Ad theme.

You can add text and title information as needed to fill out your Ad. Click Preview to see what your Ad will look like. Click Publish when you are ready to expose your Ad to the public.

Advertising Service Requests

You can enter a Service Request in the Ranchbook app. Please enter a Service Request as your first option for any type of communication you would like with Ranchbook. A Service Request enables us to accurately track your service and communicate effectively.

To enter a Service Request, click the + icon within the App and Click Service.
