Introduction to Pages
Pages are the most unique part of the Ranchbook Social Media Platform. We think of pages as important subjects that are part of your Ranch, Family or Business. Each entity may have a different view of what is important and requires a page. Page content is the key feature of Ranchbook that helps our social media platform become a productivity and management tool for your entity.
1. For example, a Quarterhorse Ranch may have a page for each foal that is born. The Ranch can provide updates to that page as the foal matures and when they are ready they can mark that foal for sale or on auction.
2. Another example is a Ranch raising registered Angus Bulls. The rancher can take photos and videos as the bull matures and include weaning weight and other details. At sale time, there will be a great log history of the bull. The Rancher can put the Bull On Auction within Ranchbook and all the history of that Bull will display on the auction page.
3. Equipment is another example of a page that may be important as a subject. You can track the history of your equipment including service and repairs. This is an example of a page where you would uncheck Publish Posts in page setup as the posts for this page would not interesting to other users and should not be shown on the Discover and Home pages of Ranchbook.
4. Football is another example of a page that you could setup. If football is very important to your family, this page could be setup to post important football events. This allows other users who visit your profile to see only football posts under the Football page.
5. Stallion promotion is another example of a specific page you may need. You continue to post information about your stallion through time and share all the goodness about him.
